I have just one of those tripods Spider Vivitar.
I am surprised by the strength and it is stable, given the price. It just fits my £ 1.5 Canon PowerShot SX10 and pleasure has had no problem with a digital SLR harder.
I had a smaller Joby GP1-EBEN Gorillapod Tripod (Flexible Blue) with my little Canon camera that I lost, and the Gorillapod difficult to argue that 1 lb. camera. I was at the head to prevent it tilting joint superglue. I do not expect thatThe problem with this Vivitar Tripod Spider.
